Bluffdale Fire Station
Bluffdale, UT
Bluffdale Fire Station #92 is a 12,856-square-foot building constructed in a 10-month timeframe. The one-story building incorporates dormitory rooms for firefighters, a kitchen and living areas adjacent to the fire truck bays. With three bays in total, the fire station can also accommodate ambulance spacing. Station #92 serves a newer residential area and was specifically designed to blend in to the surrounding neighborhood; combined brick masonry and rock work help the fire station feel part of the Bluffdale landscape and community. In an effort to conserve energy, the building’s design also includes solar panels and a geothermal HVAC system.
