The construction of the North Salt Lake City Hall building involved extensive site excavation and the use of structural retaining walls to accommodate the unique site conditions. Special features of the project include council rooms, courts, city offices and kitchens. The entire lower level of the facility contains the city police department, including detective offices, interview rooms and a holding cell.
