Park City High School

Park City, UT

Two of the main goals of the Park City School District were to create a design and construction solution that reflected the architectural influence of the community and to lead in sustainability and energy efficiency.

Hughes provided many construction strategies during the pre-construction process in support of these goals. During construction, Hughes maintained the expected quality set forth during the planning phase so that both of these goals would be achieved. The community took great pride in the facility's architectural appeal and the low operation cost as a result of following the LEED process. Park City High School is certified at the level of LEED Silver.

Hughes provided many construction strategies during the preconstruction process to ensure that both of these goals would be met. Site improvements included a new synthetic turf football field with stadium bleachers, restructured access roads and parking lots, and xeriscaped landscaping for water and cost savings benefits for the owner.
