SVG is a vector file for web that can be scaled up or down on responsive and HD devices without a loss in quality. Because of their scalability and reduced file size, SVG files are preferred over PNG for web. SVG files can also be placed in videos and other digital pieces.

The wordmark may be used alone if necessary. Minimum size and clear space are still required. Do not use the black wordmark on dark backgrounds. Please use the white logo to create optimal contrast.

Minimum Size

The minimum acceptable logo size is 0.5 inches wide for both the vertical logo and the horizontal logo. The logo should not be made overly large, but sized appropriately based on the design aesthetic of the piece. The typical size of a standard logo for an 8.5 x 11 ad, for example, would be 1.5 to 2 inches wide, measured by the overall width of Howdy and the wordmark.

In order to maintain the integrity of the logo, it is important that nothing infringes on its space. The absolute minimum amount of clear space is equal to the HUGHES ‘H’ width (see "H" in diagram).
